Risk Management Project Manager (6/19/08)
Duties/Responsibilities: The Risk Management Project Manager works with the department manager to comply with department goals and objectives. Specifically, the manager assists with program and project management; supervises risk management staff; interacts with other WRM departments; represents the risk management department at company and client meetings; meets with and provides consulting services to WRM clients; conducts field evaluations and training; drafts articles for WRM publications; participates in the risk transfer program, and participates in formulating risk management department plans, goals and objectives. Nationwide and local travel is required.
Qualifications:
Work Experience: At least ten years safety, loss control and risk management experience, preferably with public sector and educational institutions. National program management and supervisory experience is required.
Education: The CPCU, ARM or CSP designation is required, as well as a four-year degree in safety, human resources, business management or a related field. JD is desirable.

Construction Safety Representatives (6/5/08)
A high profile New York City heavy civil contractor is seeking Construction Safety Representatives for both day and graveyard shifts. The company has over 20 years of market experience and specializes in heavy civil projects involving underground construction. Employer has an excellent reputation and is looking for solid professionals with the desire to work for a great company. The right candidate will possess the following:
- A Degree in a Construction or Safety related discipline is preferred but not a requirement
- Safety certification (CHST, CSP, etc.) would be a big plus but not required
- At least 5 years of Construction Safety experience
- OSHA 30-hour construction safety course or be willing to complete the course upon hire
- Ability to interface well with Project Managers, Field Supervision and Subcontractors
- Willingness to learn and take direction
